About us

Puchero MIX is a recipe project that also has a music playlist selected to accompany you during each culinary journey. In addition, the recipes are very complete, integrating all the information so that your experience making them is excellent and invites you to continue cooking with joy.

In Puchero Mix we propose music to accompany you on this delicious journey.. Not only will you find delicious recipes, but I also share with you the love for music.

In addition, I want my blog to offer you a very practical format, without wasting time, where you can calculate at the click of a button the quantities of each ingredient depending on the number of diners, with the nutritional information per serving as complete as possible, provide a good pairing e report allergens allergens that the recipe contains.

I will prioritize a good experience making the recipe, rather than the number of recipes I can offer you. My name is Bernat Navacerrada Torras, but I'm known as Bernie Torras in the web and online marketing world.

[turra ON] So that you know what this is all about, I want to tell you about my relationship with the kitchen.

In the past, I dedicated myself completely to the culinary art, attending first and for many years (almost 5 years) to the reference cooking school in Terrassa and later in one of the best cooking schools in Barcelona as is the Hofmann school, where I perfected my culinary skills in various monographs and doing the intensive course of cook. Meanwhile, during the week, he worked in the family business designing and assembling industrial kitchens.

I worked for a while in several restaurants on the weekends, during the week I continued with the industrial kitchens (I made some great 3D).

Wait, wait: setting up kitchens during the week and cooking on weekends. Can you imagine how it ended?

[SPOILER] Wrong.

I got burned. As time went by, my professional career took me (vilely) away from the kitchen and led me to the world of online marketing: from the family business where I worked during the week, to web design and later on to SEO, where I could gather and use all the knowledge I had gained in my previous stages.

An eternity later...

Now, as a father, I have reconciled myself with time, the time needed to cook and make sure my family has a varied and nutritious diet. And above all, with the recipes that I have learned, that I can trust, well transcribed, with their annotations (which is not easy because my handwriting sucks) and well organized on a website, so that you can see that I am SEO. And so was born the idea of the cooking blog with more rhythm, Puchero MIX.

I have already said that it had a somewhat selfish purpose. In Puchero MIX the recipes are there to accompany me during the whole trip: so that the music accompanies me while I cook, so that I can find a good pairing, surprise my friends and to be able to wedge god level with all the nutritional information.

I'm Elena Fenoll, passionate about creative cooking and making the most of it.

I have been cooking for as long as I can remember. My family runs a bakery where I have always helped and where I discovered my passion for cooking.

I am one of those people that when I have a very hard and stressful day I try to make time to cook, it relaxes me. What I like the most is to make desserts and sweets, although I try to add some new technique as much as possible to my recipes.
